The City of Toronto is updating its multi-year Accessibility Plan and wants input from the public. The Accessibility Plan outlines the City’s strategy to prevent and remove barriers, and meet requirements under the Standards of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

The City would like to understand the source of barriers faced by people with disabilities, and what we could do differently to reduce the impact of that barrier. All feedback is welcome from people with disabilities, and people without disabilities advocating on their behalf.

Thank you to everyone who attended our public consultation sessions in June 2017.  Individuals can still provide feedback by completing the online survey. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and will be open until 5 p.m. on July 25, 2017.
